SGN's 5th Reicofil production Line goes into operation

Recently, Saudi German Nonwovens (SGN) held a ceremony to celebrate the completion of expansion and commissioning at its factory in Rabigh, western Saudi Arabia, marking the put-into-use of the company's 5th Reicofil nonwoven production line. SGN first announced this production expansion plan in 2023. 

The new Reicofil 5 (RF5) nonwoven production line will further increase SGN's production capacity of high-end nonwoven materials, meeting the needs of multiple markets such as baby diapers, adult incontinence products, feminine hygiene products, medical care, agriculture, and industry. On this basis, SGN has been able to launch new spunbond nonwoven products under its Sofina brand, which are divided into three grades to meet diverse market demands. 

The Sofina brand products will be promoted starting from the North American and European markets. By leveraging SGN's strong distribution networks in these regions, the company aims to expand its market share. 

This capacity expansion not only enriches SGN's product portfolio but also enhances its global influence, consolidating its leading position in the nonwoven sector.
